Carrying on the Local Livestock Processing Tradition

101 Custom Meats officially opened our doors in Aug of 2017 by providing slaughter services for several local shops, including Pearson Meats in Toquerville UT, Bundy Meats in Pintura UT, and Custom Meats in Cedar City.  We started working out of an old hunting club building, and after some retro-fitting, turned it into a simple state certified shop.  In honor of the Lee family, on whose property the original shop resides, we decided to name the shop "101" which is their multi-generational family brand.

In the latter part of 2022, we started construction on a new shop to better accommodate the needs of the community.  The new shop is a stones-throw from our first shop and is housed in what was the original garage of the 101 Rancho built by Evan Lee in the 1940's.

In June of 2024, we acquired The Final Cut which was located in St. George UT.  The decision was made to relocate to a better strategic location.  Veyo UT, became the home for the new shop and is scheduled to open on September 1, 2024 for wild game and then​ expanding into domestic in 2025.  For the time being, The Final Cut is leasing floor space from 101 Custom Meats in Virgin UT.
